Which
Type of Business Entity is Right For Me Now And 3-5 Years Into
The Future?
So you're thinking about
incorporating and wondering which type of 'business entity'
you should choose? The 2 most common types, corporations
and LLCs, are smart choices for small business owners looking
to minimize their personal and professional liability.
Both entities offer distinct tax and business advantages.
BUT choosing the right one depends on your specific needs for
your business, today and in the future.
Corporations (C
Corp or S Corp)
Corporations can offer
personal liability protection, potential tax savings, and
increased opportunities for raising capital. Part of
being a Corporation is they are required to perform certain
formalities such as holding annual meetings and keeping
detailed corporate records (minutes).
To determine whether a C
corporation or an S corporation is right for you, I'd suggest
you take advantage of our
Free 25-Minute
Corporation Consultation. Either fill out the
web form below or call me at 800-800-1776 x 52 so

situation so I can give you a recommendation.
LLC or
Limited Liability Company
LLCs offer the same
personal liability protection as a corporation but have less
of the corporate formalities. For example they are not
typically required to hold formal meetings or keep detailed
corporate minutes. And LLCs offer great tax flexibility.
Plus the LLC 'Member' can choose to be taxed as either a
traditional corporation or as a pass-through entity.
As above, to determine
